Continuing a 50-year family tradition abroad in'' Sabet & Sons'' then the largest worldwide import company in wholesale selling of handmade carpets, Miranta Vasiliadou founded the first store MBI in Drama in 1995. After a successful start in 1997, the company expanded with a new self owned store in Thessaloniki.
Taking advantage of very good friendships and relations abroad, MBI works closely with the most large and well known manufacturing companies of handmade carpets in Persia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, the former USSR, India and China. Travelling to these countries, the company is trying for years now to choose for its customers the finest and most unique carpets.
The wide range of carpets and the reliable profile rank MBI to the most important companies of its kind and the name is now deemed a synonym of quality and good taste, but always with very reasonable Prices.
With specialized staff and a modern approach ΜΒΙ addressed both to simple retail customer (with the possibility for whole home study) and also to anyprofessional who is looking to decorate his work space or even traditional guesthouses or whole hotels.

With presence in internet since 1996 we always believed in the importance of the Internet and we was the first greek company of handmade carpets that publish prices and provide an integrated capability to order and pay on the website.
In the context of communication with the customer audience MBI has organized successful exhibitions in cities like Kavala, Serres, Drama, Xanthi, Trikala, Kastoria and has also participated in exhibitions such as "Egnatia" in Kavala and "FURNITEC" and "DesignStories" in Thessaloniki.
