Belutch Buchara

Belutch (or Balutch) Carpets are made from nomads they live and travel between Persia and west Afghanistan.
Belutch made in Afghanistan normally have woolen warp and they are softer and lighter.
The Persian Belutch have cotton warp and they are much heavier.
Both types are worth they good price.
Designs are geometrical or with simple pictures,  in small sizes the prayer motive is preferred, the Buchara design is rarer.
Many times before the fringes a small kelim is woven that makes carpets more durable.
The Colors are mostly dark and natural dyed.
