After the great success of Ziegler carpets, many more old designs from 19th century revived, using the same old traditional methods and gain the admiration of customers with tremendous commercial success.Such major attempts are Aryana and Kandahar carpets. Our Company was one of the first who brought them to Europe in 2006 and 2005.
Aryana carpets are knotted in three qualities of which we sell only the two best.
The wool is always of high quality, spuned by hand with old - time consuming - techniques, with amazing long lasting durability. Vegetable dyes are used to withstand the persistent stonewash, which gives to the carpet his final look.
The designs are inspired by old museum carpets therefore they are always timeless.
The inspirers of Aryana and Kandahar carpets have chosen Afghanistan to wove they carpets, a country where traditional carpet making works basically with old rhythms and the weavers do not hesitate to invest time and quality materials in their work.
Qualitatively they belong to the elite of antique carpets.
