Generally about Indian Carpets

The beginning of the art of weaving handmade carpets in India located historically in the 11th century with the coming of the first Muslim invaders, in the 15th century and after the Mughals extending to India, the Indians adopted the Persian art and design.

Many Persian weavers settled in India at the time and had brought the know-how, after that, the  Indian production showed significant creations.
The style of the Persian carpet is then embellished by Indian art, creating a new style that will be recognized as the Indian rug.
